The EU-X-CT Multi-stakeholder Initiative
There is no EU legal framework that defines the conditions to access clinical trials in another EU country. To support patients, investigators and sponsors in enabling cross-border access to clinical trials, EFGCP and EFPIA have launched this initiative and representatives from patient organizations, industry, academia, CRO and medical society will work together with the objective of “Borders are no longer Barriers” to make cross-border access a reality for patients.
The initiative will run over 2 years and will be presenting final recommendations in 2025.
