The annual Conference on Development of Pediatric Medicines took place on 26th and 27th September 2012 in London. The conference was organized by EMA (European Medicines Agency) in co-operation with DIA and European Forum for Good Clinical Practice (EFGCP). The aim of the conference was to discuss on a high level which area of the EU regulation can be considered a success, where the regulation might be modified and where collaboration between the involved players can be improved.
The EFGCP / DIA / EMA Pediatric Conference allowed an open discussion between academics, clinicians, regulatory authorities, associations and pharmaceutical industry about pediatric drug development.
Dr. Martine Dehlinger-Kremer, chairman of the EUCROF Pediatric Working Group, participated actively as a keynote speaker during the conference. For further information, please find attached the PowerPoint presentation presented by Dr. Martine Dehlinger-Kremer.
